This wedding dress tag is made to be sewn into your wedding gown lining at the hem, or inside the top of the gown, where a standard clothing label would go. Your seamstress may tack it into your dress during your final fitting if you wish.
The tradition comes from the 20's and 30's when couture gown designers created personalized labels for their clients to represent that their garment was truly one of a kind.
Traditionally, it is also the last time a bride uses her maiden initials. The stitching is in blue, which honors the tradition of wearing something blue to symbolize love, modesty and fidelity.
