Tutu Sizes and Information

Tutu Sizes:

We *really* prefer that you get a waist measurement for the tutu you plan to order.  It ensures that the tutu will fit perfectly!  If you cannot, please reference the below chart.  Keep in mind, all babies and children are sized differently!  You should plan to order about 1-2 inches smaller than your child's waist so that it will gently stretch and stay snug on them.

Newborn Tutu:  Our newborn baby tutus are made to fit a waist from about 12” and will stretch to about 16”.  Fits most babies through 3 months. 

Baby Tutu:  Our baby tutu size is 14” and will stretch to about 18”.  Will fit most babies up to about 1 year old.

Toddler Tutu:  Our toddler tutus have a waist size of 19” and stretch to about 24”. 

3-4 year old tutu:  Our 3-4 year old tutus have a waist size of 21” and still stretch to about 25”.

5-6 year old tutu:  Our 5-6 year old tutus have a waist size of 22" and will stretch to about 26”.

7+ year olds:  Custom waist size needed for any tutus larger than this, as all children are sized differently!

Tutu Lengths:

If you can, measure from your child’s waist to the point where you’d like to tutu to fall, and send us the length measurement along with the waist measurement.  If you don’t know what length you need, see below.

4” length:  Perfect for newborn tutus when you’re looking for something short and fluffy!

6” length:  Great for the baby tutus, up to 1 year old, or when you’re looking for a longer length on a newborn tutu.  Would be perfect with a pair of fancy pants showing off underneath!  J

8” length:  Probably the length we use most.  Would be a longer length on a baby tutu, or a shorter length on older children.  Recommended for 2 year old+.

10” length: Recommended for the 5-6 year old tutus, or for the 3-4 year old tutus if you are looking for a longer length.

Tutu colors:

We have many colors of tulle in stock right now.  If you have a color in mind, but don't see it on our chart, please ask!  It is a very good possibility we can get that color in stock within a week or two.

We do many different custom color themed tutus, so don't be afraid to request something!!  Strawberry Shortcake, Ladybug, Easter Pastels, Halloween, Christmas, Winter, Valentine's Day, St Patrick's Day, 4th of July/Memorial Day, NFL and College Football colors, etc. - the possibilities are endless!!

Tutus will be shipped in a roomy box, so don't worry about wrinkles.  As soon as you receive your tutu, please hang on a pant hanger in a dry closet with plenty of space.  You don't want to squish the tutu, or else it'll get wrinkly.  If the tutu gets dirty, you can gently spot clean with a damp cloth.
